Course Overview: A Journey of Dedication
Memorizing the Holy Quran is a profound blessing and a life-changing commitment. At Usman Ibne Affan
Online Quran Academy, we have developed a specialized Hifz program that combines traditional
memorization techniques with modern scheduling to make this noble goal achievable for students living busy
lives.
The Hifz journey is unique for every individual. It requires not just memory, but consistency, spiritual
dedication, and expert supervision. Our certified Hafiz instructors provide the necessary emotional and
technical support to ensure the Quran is not just memorized, but deeply etched into the heart with perfect
Tajweed.
Primary Learning Outcomes
Our Hifz program focuses on three pillars: New Lesson (Sabq), Recent Revision (Sabqi), and Old Revision (Manzil).
- Complete Hifz Graduation: Systematic memorization of all 30 Paras (Juz) following a personalized roadmap.
- Retention Techniques: Using audio-visual cues and repetition patterns that enhance memory long-term.
- Tajweed in Memorization: Ensuring that as the pace of reading increases during revision, the rules of Tajweed remain intact.
- Spiritual Discipline: Developing the habit of daily Quranic interaction, fostering a deep love for Allah's word.
- Daur (Final Revision): A dedicated phase at the end of the course focuses purely on strengthening the entire Quran for a final exam.
Our Teaching Methodology
The Three-Part Lesson Plan is the core of our methodology:
1. Al-Sabq (New Lesson): The student recites the new portion to be memorized today. The
teacher ensures correct pronunciation and provides tips for easier memorization.
2. Al-Sabqi (Daily Revision): This involves reciting the lessons memorized in the last 7 to
10 days. This is where most students fail, so we prioritize its perfection to ensure long-term retention.
3. Al-Manzil (Old Revision): A rotation of previously completed Paras to ensure that as the
student moves forward, they do not forget the beginning.
Flexible Pacing: We don't believe in rushing. If a student needs more time for a particular
Surah, we adjust. Quality always takes precedence over quantity.
Regular Testing: Every Friday is dedicated to a "Big Test" of the current Para, ensuring
the student is ready to move to the next Juz with confidence.
